ONE UTAMA’S FASHION ON 1 WITH FOCUS POINT
   
 

27th April 2009 – Leading fashion optical retail brand Focus Point recently held an eyewear show at One Utama’s new wing concourse as part of One Utama’s ‘Fashion on 1’ fashion showcase.

Focus Point presented its latest 2009 eyewear collection, featuring more of its world renowned elegant exclusive brands being added to the collection.

Among its exclusive brands that were featured include Serengeti, Daniel Hetcher, Lightec, Jaguar & Thierry Mugler.

At around 7pm, the crowd begun to gather together, all wanting to have a peak and anticipating for the eyewear show to begin. The emcee for that night is none other than Mix’s FM deejay – Serena C.

With the opening by Serena C, Focus Point displayed a breathtaking eyewear show with Japanese martial artists performing an artistic fight scene, while wearing and featuring one of Focus Point’s exclusive brands – Serengeti.

With the Japanese themed music at the background, the second round was introduced by female models that entered the runway with the looks of Japanese demure while wearing Serengeti sunglasses.

With a quick switch, the models switched to wear another Serengeti eyewear which was placed on the cummerbund on their body. The world renowned brand of Serengeti sunglass is among the favorites of celebrities such as Harrison Ford as he can be often seen wearing one.

With spotlights continuing to illuminate the stage and with increasing energy in the ambiance, the brand that is inspired by European fashion – Daniel Hetcher continued to be exhibited that dazzled the audience, with a perfect match of swimwear together with the designer brand sunglasses. Daniel Hetcher eyewear frames was then put on show by the models with chefs’ outfit, by William Liew.

With compliments of Jonathan Cheng collection for men, it was the perfect match for award winning design brand – Lightec. Lightec’s collection of eyewear includes frames made for people of all gender and age using screw-less system for low maintenance and high durability - their utilisation of high-tech materials sets them apart from others.

Lightec has always been ahead of its competitors with their unique and advanced technological innovation bringing eyewear to a whole new level. Although technologically advanced, Lightech eyewear is available in both modern and classical design made for the maximum comfort.

The elegant Jaguar eyewear collection that was thus featured, specially styled for men with a sense of tradition and a youthful flair. Made of metal and titanium and often with zyl accents, Jaguar eyeglasses eyewear frames are durably constructed, frequently with flex hinges, and provide a comfortable fit.

Last but not least, unmistakably recognizable at first glance, the models then displayed the distinctive Thierry Mugler eyewear, extreme in its sophistication and style, accompanied by long couture skirts with a short front and long trail that continue drew attention from the crowd to wrap up an almost perfect eyewear showcase.

With that, the splendid eyewear showcase concluded with emcee Serena C inviting the President/CEO of Focus Point – Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang & Senior Manager, Operations / Marketing & Promotion of Focus Point – Mr Jake Ng to pose for a group photo with the models, followed by applauses from the satisfied audience before continuing the rest of their night.
