Focus Point Management Sdn. Bhd. recently bagged home the prestigious award for “Franchise of The Year” for 2009 at the Franchise Award Ceremony at Putrajaya. The ceremony held on the 18th of November also saw Focus Point Management Sdn. Bhd. bringing home two additional awards – “Best Home Grown Franchisor”, “Best Outlet Growth” whilst its franchisee, Formosa Optometrist Sdn. Bhd., won the “Most Promising Franchisee of The Year” award.
Focus Point CEO, Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang is exceptionally proud to receive the award, it being the highest achievement any company could attain since the program’s introduction seven years ago. With this accomplishment, his vision for Focus Point to one day become the leader in eye care products in the country has finally come true.
He said that the contributions of Focus Point’s employees and franchisees through hard-fought battles and teamwork are the main reason that has placed them in today’s fame. Not forgetting too the continuous support from all Malaysians which serve as a primary motivation to keep the company thrusting forward.
Following on with its accomplishments, Focus Point plans to continue on its triumphant run by planning on opening another 16 new franchise outlets for 2010. This offer is opened to fellow Focus Point staffs as a way of showing its appreciations. In addition to that, Focus Point also plans to expand its market outside of the country within the next two years, starting with the South East Asia region being a potential objective.
